100% of this rum entered a single barrel 8 years before bottling, during which time only the Angels were allowed a hand in its crafting. Distilled in March 2009 and bottled in October 2017. The nose is quite light and it’s pleasantly fruity. Without water, the flavor disappears quickly as the alcohol evaporates, leaving a flambeed banana taste. Sweet hints of succulent tropical fruits but the nose doesn’t really reveal what’s to come.

Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in taste.
Finish: Rich and smooth.
