Made with Jamaican molasses, our 100% fine Jamaican rum is expertly boiled, fermented and distilled using both column and pot stills. Matured for up to 4 years in white oak barrels, our rum adds a delicious kick to cocktails and traditional cooking recipes. Simply add with cola and pour over ice for a classic mixed drink.

Myers’s Original Dark Rum | 1.75L Tasting Notes

Nose: Mahogany and charred wood aromas lead into a thick entry.

Palate: Mildly sweet, with a moderately full-bodied palate and hints of dark caramel and toasted coconut husks.

Finish: Finishes a bit hot to be a pure sipping rum.

Distillery Information

Monymusk Distillery (like Hampden Distillery, Jamaica) has Scottish roots and is one of the oldest plantations in Jamaica. In the mid-18th century it was owned by Sir Archibald Grant who also owned a Slaving Station in West Africa which provided labour for his plantation.
