This is matured in oak barrels made from “Garry Oak,” a species native to the Pacific Northwest known for its intensely spicy profile. A uniquely local whiskey, this opens with robust, dark aromas of clove spice, wood smoke and toffee. Raw honeycomb, peppermint and earth fills the palate leading to a cocoa-dusted finish accented by a savory hint of smoke.

Westland Garryana Single Malt Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: Aromas of wood smoke with hints of hot tar and rubber are draped over ripe berry fruit.

Palate: Sweet berry, buckwheat honey and sorghum syrup.

Finish: Smoldering baking spice on the drying oak-laced finish
