In typical Doctor Bird fashion though, this is a totally different kind of beast. Bottled at Navy Strength (a whopping 57% abv), this is no rum liqueur. The intensity of the rum matches the pineapple beautifully, and if you didn’t know it was infused with fresh fruit, you might just think it was an especially lush and fruity take on the Bird. A real rum lover’s Pineapple Rum to be sure.
