Released as an exclusive for The Macallan Boutiques at Dubai and Heathrow airports, this Speyside single malt is inspired by famous water areas of the world. This first edition, released in 2019, features the Vermilion Lakes of Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. Matured exclusively in European and American oak sherry-seasoned casks, this expression is bottled at a strength of 52% abv.

Nose: Hints of citrus, vanilla and spiced oak on the nose.

Palate: Cinnamon, poached pears and caramelised brown sugar make themselves known on the palate.

Finish: A smooth, balanced and all-round delicious dram.

The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray. The Macallan Distillers Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Edrington Group which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
