“The Bitter Truth story began in Munich, Germany, in 2006, when bartenders Stephan Berg and Alexander Hauck noticed a scarcity of quality cocktail bitters in the German bar scene. Using Berg’s collection of historical recipes and their own expertise, they founded the company to recreate lost flavors and offer bartenders authentic, high-quality ingredients, launching with Orange and Aromatic Bitters and eventually expanding to a full range of unique bitters, liqueurs, and spirits, becoming a key player in the craft cocktail revival.”
