Please note that this Sexywhisky (Sxwh) is 1st Fill PX Sherry Hogshead. This is one of only 18 bottles ever produced. A fact, that makes this edition even more desirable.
Strathmill 2009 Sxwh 11 Years Old Tasting Notes
Nose: honey, vanilla, cake, whiff of smoke, hay, mushroom, earth, milky
Palate: vanilla cake, honey, white pepper, little hint of yellow fruits
Finish: quite hot, white pepper, vanilla, young oak, some hay
Distillery Information
Strathmill is one of three distilleries within the Moray town of Keith at the heart of “Malt Whisky Country”. Unlike Keith’s other two distilleries of Strathisla and Glen Keith, however, Strathmill is not owned by Chivas but since 1997 by Diageo who operate it for the production of blends such as J&B whisky.
