An Amalfi lemon liqueur from the Amalfi coast, famous for its lemons! The recipe dates back to Don Staibano’s first creation in 1932, made with the finest Amalfi lemon peel, grain spirit, milk and sugar without additives or preservatives. Serve over ice, with the Staibano family also recommending adding a basil leaf as a garnish.
Distillery Information
Casa Staibano spirits company was founded by Cesco Amodio in 2015, inspired by his charismatic Great-Grandfather, Don Vincenzo Staibano, who owned lemon groves on the Amalfi Coast and started making sweet liqueurs and spirits in the 1930s. Positano Gin is based on a recipe created by Don Vincenzo in the 1950s for his wife, Lucia, who was born in Positano and requested a stronger, less sweet concoction.
