A pure example of Springbank whisky. Distilled in 1992 and bottled at around seven years of age, this has been bottled without chill filtration or colouring and was produced using traditional floor-malted barley. It’s also certified organic.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: There is a much greater presence of peat in the taste than the nose suggests. The smokiness quickly hits the palate and then tapers off.

Finish: Finish is smooth and long.

Distillery Information

The Springbank distillery is a family-owned single malt whisky distillery on the Kintyre Peninsula in western Scotland. It is owned by J & A Mitchell & Company, who also owns the Glengyle Distillery, the oldest independent bottler, William Cadenheads, and several blended scotch labels.
