Rivers Royale Grenadian Rum is made with locally grown sugar cane, fresh water, and molasses. It is the only rum that is made in Grenada. The company was founded in 2001 by Walter Rivers, a former lawyer. The rum is made in small batches and aged for three years in oak barrels. The result is a smooth, complex rum with hints of vanilla, coconut, and butterscotch. The smoothness of Rivers Royale Grenadian Rum is due to the rum being aged for three years in oak barrels.
