Distillery Information
“The Port Charlotte distillery story is about an original Islay distillery (Lochindaal) running from 1829-1929, closed by DCL, and later revived as a brand by Bruichladdich, which uses the old warehouses and produces heavily peated whisky to honor the original’s smoky spirit, creating a modern legacy from historic ruins.”
