The majority of the maturation occurred in ex-bourbon barrels, but this rum was finished for six months in Ocho Tequila casks. After this the rum was moved to France, where it rested in casks that previously held Ferrand Cognac, before being bottled in 2018 by Plantation.

Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Rich and smooth.
