Distillery Information
Patrón tequila was founded by Martin Crowley and John Paul DeJoria in 1989. While Crowly was on a business trip in Mexico, DeJoria asked him to bring back some tequila. Crowly was inspired by a hand-blown bottle that he found in Mexico and pitched the idea of making the world’s best tequila to DeJoria.
