Old Salt Rum is produced by the English Spirit Distillery, and we mean that very literally. It’s one of only a few rums distilled in England – no spirit brought in from far off lands makes its way into this one! It’s made from pure cane molasses, which is fermented and then triple distilled in copper pot stills, and then the spirit is matured in English oak barrels before bottling at 42% ABV. It takes its name from the Old Salt Depot, where the distillery used to call home. No salt added here (though it’d probably pair very well with some sort of salted caramel pudding…).

Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Perfect, long lasting finish.
