The Old Charter 101 is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Buffalo Trace distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, and is bottled at, you probably guessed it, 101 proof (50.5% ABV). It is distilled from Buffalo Trace’s mash bill #1, which is estimated to be around 10% rye, giving it a good, spicy back-bone.
