Nose: Delicate and impressive depth on the nose.
Palate: Sweet, sticky notes of apricot jam are joined by vanilla pods and woody spices, with salted caramel and peppercorns nestling beneath.
Finish: Peppery warmth on the finish.
Distillery Information
The distillery was founded by Dr. Pierre Charles François Harel in 1838, when he began using local ingredients from his Pamplemousses Garden Estate to produce his rum. The company continues to use local produce in its bottlings, with the distillery found surrounded by verdant fields of green sugar cane.
