Aged in new Limousin French oak barrels of about 250 liter capacity, Neisson Rhum Agricole 15 year old rhum embraces a rich mahongany hue with notes of spice, warm wood and dark fruit on the nose. The enty is velvet smooth with a warm mouthfeel loaded with almond, cinnamon, warm wood and sugar cane leading to a slightly smoky oak finish. After aging 15 years only a couple of barrels of this rhum were bottled in 2013, 120 liter bottles were exported to the US.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.

Distillery Information

A small distillery at the entrance of a fishing village on Martinique island. A small distillery owned by a woman, led by her son Gregory Vernant Neisson, who today is the last Master Distiller and owner in the island.
