A gem of Speyside, this is the oldest expression in the luxurious new range of single malts from the coveted Mortlach Distillery. Matured exclusively in refill American oak casks which impart a rich, amber colour whilst retaining the balance between the character of the spirit and the flavours imparted by the wood. Aged for a quarter of a century before bottling the whisky, the bottles for this range, and in particular this 25 year old, are designed to reflect Victorian engineering designs in a tribute to one of the key figures in Mortlach’s history, George Cowie, a civil engineer.
