Description
The two Monteraponi ‘cru’ bottlings are distinctly different. Campitello is perhaps the more classic Chianti Classico, showing red berries, sandalwood, tobacco-leaf and angelica, a bright, firm palate impression, beautiful texture (fine tannins, fresh acidity), drinkable when young but clearly age-worthy.
