Michter’s 2018 10 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Dark caramel color, along with an aroma of espresso, toffee and whipped cream.
Palate: Big and bold dark toffee and caramel, charred oak, maple syrup, vanilla.
Finish: Medium-long, with touches of tobacco, old leather and figs.
Distillery Information
Bomberger’s Distillery, more recently Michter’s Distillery, is a non-operating distillery facility that was, at the end of the twentieth century, believed to be the oldest remaining such building in the United States. The distillery closed in 1989 and may have since been demolished.
