Made using barley grown on Macallan’s Speyside estate, distilled once a year in a single week, this single malt has been matured exclusively in sherry seasoned oak butts and hogsheads. Macallan Estate is presented in a striking box inspired by the landscape of Speyside. Featuring an inlay of hand-cut slate, this unique box reflects the sense of place found in the whisky.

Nose: Sherry on the nose, sweet Olosoro, pepper, berry fruits, calves leather and cedar wood.

Palate: Spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, rich sherry, cocoa, coffee beans and caramel.

Finish: Citrus, potpourri, malt, berry fruits, toasted walnuts, almond oil.

The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray. The Macallan Distillers Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Edrington Group which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
