Longrow 1990 is a 18 year old Single Malt whisky from Scotland. Bottled in 05.2008 at 54.1% this bottle will make a fine addition to any Scotland Single Malt whisky lover. Please note that this Distillery Bottling is Refill Bourbon Hogshead. It is also worth mentioning that this is uncolored, non-chillfiltered, cask strength, single cask whisky edition of Springbank. This is one of only 237 bottles ever produced. A fact, that makes this edition even more desirable.
Longrow 1990 Specially Bottled for Magnus Fagerstrom 18 Years Old Tasting Notes
Nose: A mouthwatering combo of liqueur herbs and lightly smoked candied tangerine. Quite mentholy too. Very elegant and gentle.
Palate: Grassy, with a gentle bitterness. Very light and pleasant peat plays around with citrus. Crystallized lemons.
Finish: Medium length with elegant bitterness.
Distillery Information
The Springbank distillery is a family-owned single malt whisky distillery on the Kintyre Peninsula in western Scotland. It is owned by J & A Mitchell & Company, who also owns the Glengyle Distillery, the oldest independent bottler, William Cadenheads, and several blended scotch labels.
