L’Encantada Domaine Larege 1986 | 500ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Bold and fruity at the same time, some hints of waxiness and dried oak, spices, some sherry influence and a little hint of fresh cut spring grass, polished oak and soft honey, glazed cashews and a little pepper.

Palate: Toffee and mango, dark chocolate, some dried spices and apricot, sweet chilly richness in the middle but this is a subtle part of the mid palate, apples and dates are the dominant notes here, vanilla and a touch of toasted cinnamon buns.

Finish: Warming smooth notes in the finish.

L’Encantada is an independent bottler (negociant) in Armagnac dedicated to preserving rare and unusual styles. Vincent, Fred and Christelle therefore fill all casks at cask strength and without additives. Look forward to very unusual bottlings, which will inspire you with their individuality!
