Kilchoman Port Cask Matured 2024 Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich layers of stewed red berries, fig rolls, sweet barbecue sauce and a dusting of cinnamon.
Palate: Jammy strawberries, cranberries and cured, smoked meats are joined by fragrant, leathery oak and thick smoke.
Finish: Ashen charcoal and red fruit sweetness linger, with woody spices and tobacco nestling beneath.
Distillery Information
The Kilchoman whisky distillery was founded in 2005 at the Rochside Farm, not far from Machir Bay at Islay’s West Coast. Kilchoman is Scotland’s most Westerly whisky distillery and draws its water from a spring on Cnoc Dubh, just above Rochside Farm.
