Founded by Jackyl frontman Jesse James Dupree in 2010, Jesse James Spirits is as much a personal brand as it is a tribute to one of America’s most famous outlaws. Specializing in the production of craft spirits, they currently offer a range of straight and flavored whiskey expressions that work exceptionally well whether they are enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or mixed. Serving as their most-premium offering to date, the Jesse James America’s Outlaw Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey shares the same love for trains as it’s the outlaw it’s named after with its warehouse being located in close proximity to train tracks. Made from a proprietary mash bill containing at least 51% corn, the whiskey is distilled using copper stills and then filtered using the Lincoln County Process as required by law. The mellowed spirit is then aged in new, char #4 American oak casks for at least 24 months. During this period the thunderous rumbling of the passing trains continuously agitate the spirits infusing them with even more flavor before finally being tapped, brought to proof, and bottled.

Nose: Nose of vanilla, corn, and hints of ripe banana.

Palate: A rich and velvety palate of more bananas and corn, caramel, oak, spice, and barrel char.

Finish: A long and satisfying finish accented by notes candy corn and ripe fruits with a little alcohol heat.
