The whiskey itself is a blend of particularly creamy Irish single malt and brilliantly buttery Irish single grain, brought down from cask strength to a more approachable 50% ABV. Nose: Grilled fruit, caramelised pecans, Custard Cream biscuits and fresh cantaloupe.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Finish is lingering.
