HYDE Single Grain Irish whiskey is made in a traditional ‘coffey still’ from pure Corn (maize) grain. It is a triple distilled, pure grain, Irish whiskey from one single distillery location. Made in small batches and not blended in any way. It is matured for over 6 years in flame-charred, first fill, ex-bourbon casks from Kentucky in the U.S.A.

Nose: Crème caramel and toasty American oak wood spices.

Palate: Vanilla, warming spice, a little chilli and nougat.

Finish: Soft oak and caramel.

Distillery Information

Hibernia Distillers was founded by brothers Conor and Alan Hyde of Hyde Whiskey, in 2014. Currently based in West Cork, this new operation is not a distillery, but a bottler of Spirits. They have released several expressions.
