The nose is loaded with ripe orchard fruits, underripe peach, baked pear drizzled in caramel sauce, vanilla wafer, plum jam, maduro tobacco, dark cacao, and floral baking spices. On the palate black peppercorn joins plum jam and caramel-soaked baked pear at the front, with an underbelly of vanilla, and French oak spice. The finish is warm and balanced with sweet and spice slowly fading together, as peppercorn and clove linger with dark cacao.
