This robust single malt whiskey is made from 100% Dutch malt ground on Bentheimer sandstone. The ground grain comes from the millstone with a temperature below 30 degrees, so that the flavors are optimally preserved. After distilling twice, the malt wine is aged for five years in a port wine cask. The intensive taste is perfected during the subsequent maturation of another year in a Bourbon cask. All this creates a contrasting taste sensation of dark chocolate, deep oak, sweet caramel and fruity red fruits.
