Highland Park Saltire Edition 2 is the result of a collaboration between the distillery and Scottish driver David Coulthard, and a nod to the Formula 1 legend from Dumfries and Galloway, who have been rooting for him since the start of his career. This limited edition was made from distillates aged in first-fill sherry casks (American and European oak), second-fill casks, and fresh bourbon casks. Their selection was overseen by Highland Park distiller Gordon Motor. The presentation of the whisky is inspired by the Scottish flag, which was depicted on both Coulthard’s helmet and on his car in all races.
