The new incarnation of Hawthorn’s London Dry Gin still pays homage to the creator’s seafaring grandfather, a commander in the British Navy during the war, and also still features botanicals sourced from all over the world, including juniper from Macedonia, nutmeg from Sri Lanka and cassia bark from Indonesia. The brand revamped its core expression to increase the strength from the previous edition, which was bottled at 37.5% ABV, to 41% ABV which, in our opinion, makes that zestiness shine.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in taste.
