A blended Scotch whisky from Grant’s released as part of the Cask Editions range, which has enjoyed a finishing period in rum casks. The work of Grant’s master blender Brian Kinsman, who was curious to see the impact the vibrant rum casks could have on the classic Grant’s blend flavour profile. Some definite worthwhile exploration there! More than suitable for sipping neat if you want to really get your head around the fruit-forward deliciousness that the rum casks have imparted, but we also reckon this one will do really well in cocktails. Tasty blended whisky, helpings of zesty tropical fruit, a good few dashes of spice. Yeah, go on then!

Nose: Full-bodied aroma.

Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.

Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
