Glendronach 1995 Oloroso Sherry Puncheon 20 Year Old Tasting Notes

Nose: Nuttiness, chocolate chips, Black Forest cake, mint, bakery, dark toffee and some coffee.

Palate: Strong and spicy, with oily, red & black pepper, then full load of cherries and berries, chocolate, coffee, caramel and honey.

Finish: Long and dry finish with cocoa powder, coffee and milk chocolate.

Distillery Information

Glendronach Distillery was founded in 1826 by James Allardice. Nestled in the Valley of Forgue, deep in the East Highland Hills, is The GlenDronach Distillery, one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland. We have been dedicated to creating the finest, richly-sherried Single Malts for almost 200 years. Over the nearly 200 years of their history, this traditional distillery has been bought, sold, and traded a lot of times. But in 2008 they were finally rescued by the BenRiach Distillery Company.
