A 14 year old GlenDronach single malt, finished in casks which previously held Marsala wine. The distillery in the Highlands also has an 18 year old expression finished in Marsala wine casks too, which was very well received, so we’re looking forward to big things from this one.

This 14 year old expression from the GlenDronach Distillery in Speyside has been initially matured in European oak casks and finished in a very small batch of Marsala casks giving the resulting single malt its own range of unique flavours.

Nose: Candy apples and stem ginger with white pepper and delicate barley notes.

Palate: Fresh green apples give way to vanilla fudge and pear drops with rich oak aspects balancing the sweet and spicy characteristics.

Finish: A balance of orchard fruits and sweet oak spices.
