Glencadam White Port Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Soft, tangy fruits lead the way with wild berries, stone fruits, buttery orange shortbread, and vanilla cream.
Palate: Delicate layers of sweet summer fruits and flaky apple pastries, with honeyed sultanas and a touch of cedar.
Finish: Peppery warmth is cushioned by sweet vanilla, with fragrant oak and crunchy butter biscuits lingering on.
Distillery Information
The Glencadam Distillery was founded in 1825, by merchant George Cooper, about 200 yards from Brechin Distillery. David Scott was proprietor from 1827 to 1837. The distillery changed hands a number of times between 1837 and 1891.
