Here we have 1770 Original Glasgow single malt, distilled at none other than the Glasgow distillery, which brought whisky production back to the city for the first time in over 100 years! It’s handcrafted in copper pot stills (named Tara and Mhairi), combining Scottish barley with the pure water of Loch Katrine. The limited edition whisky was then matured in first fill bourbon casks, and treated to a finish in virgin white oak.

Nose: Dried dark fruits with tropical undertones on the nose, followed by hints of biscuit, oak and cut grass freshness.
Palate: Butterscotch and burnt brown sugar sweetness, savoury cardamom, oodles of dried fruits, with marzipan, a good helping of honey and buttery shortbread.
Finish: Rich and thick orange marmalade, nutmeg, a prominent woodiness and a hint of spice.
Distillery Information
The Glasgow Distillery Company is the first independent single malt-producing distillery based in the city since 1902. It was founded by Liam Hughes, Ian McDougall and Mike Hayward in 2012.
