Glasgow 1770 Peated Cask Strength Batch #2 Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Layers of smoky, meaty malt, with notes of barbecue sauce, pipe tobacco, and dark poached fruits.

Palate: Juicy notes of barbecued pineapple, flamed orange, and rich smoke lead to roasty coffee, smoked almonds, and prunes.

Finish: Chocolate raisins, sweet, earthy peat, and rich oak char.

Distillery Information

The original Glasgow Distillery Company was founded in 1770, subsequently operated under a number of different names, and produced unpeated, peated, and triple distilled single malt until its eventual closure in 1902.
