Dall sheep rams are crowned with stately, curving horns that grow throughout their lifetime, forming a half circle at around two years and three-quarters of a circle at around four. The impressive complete circle, known as a “full curl,” appears by age eight. Favoring rugged ridges, steep slopes, and arid landscapes, these tough, graceful, and well-balanced mountain dwellers embody the essence of our spicy and dry rye whiskey. Aged in charred oak barrels, it—like the Dall sheep—grows more magnificent with time.
