Still very coiled, this will certainly benefit from a few more years to show its full potential. It is already showing, however, a well-honed layering of dried tobacco leaves, coffee beans, liquorice root, prune and caramel, with elegantly fragrant Earl Grey and Assam playing in the background. Wine Tasting Notes
Faustino I Gran Reserva Rioja is intense, bright cherry red in color. Aromatic and complex on the nose, with notes of tobacco, cedar and leather against a background of ripe fruit, jam and spices. Powerful yet velvety on the palate, with flavors of rich red fruit, licorice and minerals and smooth, ripe tannins.
