The Enmascarado, or ‘Masked Hero’, is a Silver Mezcal made using organic agave plants baked in an underground oven before the juice is double distilled in copper pot stills by master craftsman Don Guillermo Abad Hernandez. Mezcal was for a long time seen as inferior Tequila; however, in recent years, higher-quality Mezcals have been entering the market and winning awards at international sprit competitions.
