DYC or Destilerias y Crianza is a company founded in 1959 by the “father of Spanish whiskey” Nicomedes Garcia Gomez. In 1987, it was acquired by the Pedro Domecq Group and is now owned by Beam Suntory. The company offers single malt, blended and blended malt whiskies at very competitive prices. In 2017, the DYC company timidly entered the premium segment with a series of limited editions of Colección Maestros Destiladores, which included single malts 12. and 15.summer. Soon they were joined by the Doble Roble (Double Oak) presented here. This 8-year-old single malt was subjected to a double maturation process, but the company did not disclose details about the barrels used in it.

Nose: Satisfying aroma.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: Finish is very smooth and long.
