All ten of these small batch gins were made from scratch with organic floor malted Odyssey barley (no bought-in neutral grain spirit at all! #milltostill) at the equally-as-small Dornoch distillery. Along with their core botanical selection, Batch #2 also features single botanical runs of basil, strawberry and black pepper!
Dornoch Experimental Batch No.2 Gin | 500ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Earthy basil is clear as day on the nose. Soft lime and strawberry in support.
Palate: Black pepper comes to the fore, complementing the juniper and acting as a foil to the strawberry.
Finish: Slightly savoury notes arrive alongside aniseed and pine.
