This Merlot opens with lively aromas of black plum, blackberry and cherries with a touch of cocoa. Rich flavors of strawberry jam, graham cracker and caramel are complemented by undertones of a toasty vanilla oak. This is a fruit forward wine with a lush mouthfeel and long finish.

Producer Information

DeLoach Vineyards is a California winery in Sonoma County. Since the establishment in 1970, DeLoach has built a reputation for the Burgundian varieties Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, as well as California favorite Zinfandel. The DeLoach portfolio a wide range of wines at various price points. The entry-level estate wines include a Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and a Pinot Noir rosé, all produced from estate vineyards. At the top end of the portfolio, the Our Finest Selection range is only produced in select quality vintages. In the past, DeLoach have partnered with Canadian actor Dan Aykroyd in the production of Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. The wine carried Aykroyd’s Discovery Series label which continues to be produced in partnership with Niagara-on-the-Lake winery Diamond Estates.
