Nose: Enticing notes of sherry-soaked raisins, roasted figs, cedar wood, and honey.
Palate: Dark fruit intertwines with liquorice and cacao, before developing notes of bergamot and blood orange.
Finish: Antique sherry notes linger on the palate, expressing rich berries, liquorice, cassia bark, and dark chocolate.
Distillery Information
In 1839, the Dalmore distillery was founded by Alexander Matheson, a merchant adventurer determined to create an exceptional single malt whisky. In 1867, descendants of Clan Mackenzie took control of the distillery.
