A tropical-tinger, golden dram from Dailuaine, distilled in 1973 and bottled at an impressive 46 years old by Hunter Laing from the company’s oldest stocks of whisky for the Old & Rare range. While Dailuaine is more often for its weighty character, this whisky shows off the fruitier and more tropical side of the distillery, with fresh fruit carefully balanced against riper and richer fruit, and oaky spice. Complex and layered with flavour, it never loses its well-aged elegance.
