Pink grapefruits too, and not too many raisins and walnuts. Luminous. With water: touches of tobacco and fig leaves. The grapefruits keep Hendrixing. Mouth (neat): high-precision citrus and other tropical fruits, coated with just a dollop of heather honey. Amen. With water: tiny bits of putty, saps, resins, chewing-gum, sweeter oils, waxes… Exactly what a great malty make would display.

Nose: Quite heavy red fruit sherry notes, making me expect a sherry bomb.
At 60,6% it is no surprise that the alc is very noticeable

Palate: Neat this really justifies the term “bold”.
Very spicy on arrival, but it calmed down quite quickly.
It really needs water.
Getting to grips with the spice and alc it turns out to be a little timid after the expectation of a sherry bomb.
Sweet red fruits and leather.

Finish: the spice continue into a medium length finish.
Red fruits and a hint of coffee.
