Stagecoach whiskey is an incredibly smooth true american whiskey crafted from select stocks of high rye straight bourbon whiskey combined with barrels of whiskey high in corn that have been gently aged for 7 years in the heart of the american backcountry. each barrel is hand-selected and carefully evaluated before being expertly blended at cutler’s artisan distillery in santa barbara, california.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Stagecoach whiskey is intended to be reminiscent of whiskeys consumed in the old American west, but it’s hard to imagine that those whiskeys were anywhere near this smooth.
Palate: This modern version is gentle and light-bodied, offering soft flavors of vanilla and baking spice at an easy drinking 80-proof.
Finish: Smooth and lingering.
Distillery Information
Cutler’s Distillery was founded and named for Ian Cutler, who graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara (which we know personally to be one of the most stunningly beautiful college campuses in the world filled with stunningly beautiful people) and built his distillery in Santa Barbara in the “funk zone.” Cutler used his degree in chemistry and his research work at different distilleries across the US and the UK to create his own brand of spirits, which harkens back to his family’s brand from the Prohibition era.
