Producer Information

From the picturesque slopes of the Southern Coast of France, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and under the historic gaze of a 1,000-year-old cork oak tree, lies a hillside vineyard called Château des Bormettes. The unique terroir of schist and quartz, of sunlight and passion, of French Riviera breezes, produces a soft taste of wine that cannot be replicated. Andy & Kristin Bernard started their “storia d’amore”, the Italian term for love affair, more than 25 years ago when Andy moved from California to Alabama to play college baseball. They met the first week of the semester and then he proposed to her within a year. They have enjoyed so many epic adventures, raising their family of now grown children, travelling the world, learning new cultures, and now sharing those memories through the creation of the Côtes de Femme brand. As entrepreneurs, managing their businesses can certainly require dedication, but Andy & Kristin have never had such an amazing time pairing the perfect blend of what is important in life with how to have a great time doing it. Their adventures have been blessed with high points and low points, all of which have guided them to understand that life, family, and friends are so precious.
