Lauvia Hors d’Age Bottling Note As with their other expressions, Comte de Lauvia have ‘double matured’ this Armagnac in local black oak casks, initially in new wood for several months, before being moved to second or third fill casks for a further period of around 2 years.

Distillery Information
Armagnac Comte De Lauvia is produced at Chateau de Champagne D’Armagnac, in the heart of the Gascony region of France. The castle’s 200 acres of vineyards are planted with Ugni Blanc and Folle Blanche grapes, the two grapes best suited to the production of Armagnac. The Armagnac is aged and matured in an expansive cellar known as ‘The Cathedral’ stocked with 1800 casks of black oak from the local forests.
