Compass Box Nova Reserve 15th Anniversary Blended Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes

Nose: Vanilla, dark chocolate, orchard fruits, toasted oak, and subtle spice.

Distillery Information

Compass Box Whisky is a Scotch whisky producer, headquartered in Chiswick, London. Founded in 2000 by John Glaser, it produces a range of single malt, single grain and blended scotch whiskies. Compass Box Whisky’s first commercial release was the blended grain whisky, Hedonism. The Peat Monster – a blend of heavily peated Islay and medium peated Highland malts – was released in 2004, followed a year later by The Spice Tree. The Spice Tree broke Scotch Whisky Association (SWA) regulations for its use of French oak staves and production halted. A reinvention was later launched in 2009 that complied with the SWA regulations.
